'GETAWAY'

Short Film - 2018

James is the the creator, producer, writer, and star behind the short film, 'Getaway,' a psychological ghost thriller set up in the Canadian woods. Late in the summer of 2017, James led a cast & crew of 20 people to shoot a film up in Lake Muskoka, Canada. It was a passion project of his that was several years and two countries in the making. He was fortunate enough to gain the support of hundreds of people both in New York, Canada, and elsewhere to help make this film a reality. It's now out for submission to film festivals around the world.

Synopsis: Haunted by the tragic death of his younger brother years ago, a young man tries to leave home and his past behind once and for all. However, when he starts seeing his dead brother everywhere he goes, he blacks out. And, when he comes to, there's always something violent waiting for him. Can he escape with his love before its too late? Or could the ghost be all in his head?
